SECTION 5 – WARRANTY PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENT
5.2 WARRANTY CONSULTING AND AUDIT PROCESS - CONSULTING FIRST
4-Step Warranty Consulting and Audit Process
The WCP continues as a 4-step process. Dealers will be nominated for the WCP dependent on their DAS. The four (4) steps consist of:
- Step 1 – Dealer Self-Review
- Step 2 – Warranty Review
- Step 3 – Warranty Audit
- Step 4 – Warranty Follow-up Audit
Dealer profiles are measured for each of the DAS metrics which is based on the sum of rolling six-month scores and compared against their comparison group average figures. Dealers will be nominated and progressed through the WCP based on their relative position to their comparison group average and historical trend patterns.
The exception to the above is where the Company believes there are unusual (or) false claiming practices at the Dealership. If this occurs before a Dealer is nominated to the process, or during either a Step 1 (or) Step 2, the Dealership will move directly to Step 3. A mandatory Step 4 will also be completed in these circumstances.
