Warranty Parts Return Procedures (All Dealers)
ALL Dealers are required to return parts, as instructed on the Parts Status Report / WARPEC Outstanding Parts. Any part returned to the Company or to the WARPEC / PRC must be:
- Cleaned and drained of all fluids (Unless specified by the company)
- Reassembled and complete (for assemblies) *
NOTE: * Components that may still contain residual fluid after draining (pumps, reservoirs, lines) can be placed inside a plastic bag and sealed with tape to help prevent ”wet box” package refusal/shipment delay. - Need to include SE 175 / SE 409 / SE 412 format (where applicable) included in the W&PM or reference to the FMCDealer portal for the dealer to identify the format
- Ensure the correct 'WARPEC Part Return Bar Coded Label (SE 412)' is attached to the part. This label is generated by the Warranty Claiming System with a bar code and must be affixed to the part prior to shipment to WARPEC.
- Complete and sign a SE 175 WARPEC Transmittal, including Dealer name/code, postcode and consignment number for each package. All Repair Order numbers for the parts being returned must be listed on the SE 175 Transmittal.
- SE 409 -This label is affixed to the part immediately after completion of the repair.
- Tagged with the Return Document (if one was issued)
- Packaged in the same container which held the replacement part**
NOTE: ** If a part is placed inside another box for return, make sure the box is representative of the OEM packaging to protect the part during shipping and does not contain any hazardous markings such as Flammable/combustible warnings, or statements that the package contains aerosols. Utilizing incorrect packaging could result in a regulatory action by Government / Local authorities. - Visual defects on the returned part must be identified with a permanent marker
- Labelled with the Repair Order number on the outside of the packaging
- Hazardous Materials (HAZMAT) returns must be packaged according to Government regulations.
