3.1.3 Conditions Subject to Disallowance
Prior Approval, on-site inspector approval from a Company representative or employee (such as a Field Service Engineer or Parts & Service Zone Manager or Fixed Operations Manager), digital imaging approval or Technical Assistance Center involvement with a repair does not negate dealership responsibility to adhere to the provisions of the Warranty and Policy Manual and to verify that repairs are needed due to a defect in factory workmanship or materials. Such approval does not exempt the claim from warranty adjustment or review/audit examination.
