4.1 OVERVIEW OF FIELD SERVICE ACTIONS (FSAs)
4.1.3 Field Service Action (FSA) VIN Lists
If applicable, affected VIN lists may be available for vehicles in the Dealer's PMA (Primary Market Area). These can be downloaded from PTS using the "Quick Links" tab, then selecting the "FSA VIN's" option. VIN lists may be downloaded to both Microsoft Excel or PDF. These lists provide Dealers with the ability to view all vehicles that are in a Dealer's inventory or that have been assigned to a Dealer that require the completion of a Field Service Action (FSA). Dealers are encouraged to use these VIN lists to aid in completing the closure of FSAs.
NOTE: The FSA VIN List may contain customer names and addresses obtained from Motor Vehicle Registration Records. The use of such motor vehicle registration data for any purpose other than in connection with recalls is a violation of law in several states/provinces/ countries. Accordingly, limit the use of this listing to the follow-up necessary to complete Field Service Actions.
