SECTION 4 – FORD/LINCOLN PROGRAM POLICIES
4.1 OVERVIEW OF FIELD SERVICE ACTIONS (FSAs)
4.1.4 Customer Responsibility
Upon notification of an FSA, it is the customer’s responsibility to present an affected vehicle to their nearest Ford dealership within a reasonable amount of time for repair. Ford Motor Company makes every effort to contact customers in a timely manner, advise them of the reason for the FSA along with the potential risks in not having it performed, and asks that they schedule a service appointment “without delay.” In cases where the customer does not promptly present their vehicle for the FSA repairs, the Company reserves the right to deny coverage for any consequential damage caused by such delay. Refer to Related Damage .
NOTE: Some FSA-Customer Satisfaction Programs will instruct the customer to bring their vehicle in only if a specific condition is present in their vehicle.
