SECTION 5 – WARRANTY PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENT
5.3 THE WARRANTY CONSULTING AND AUDIT PROCESS STEPS
5.3.11 The Period covered by Warranty Reviews and Audits
Warranty reviews and Audits cover the period from the next GWMS report following the last in-Dealership action (refer Process Improvement Period), to the Start Date of the review or Audit. Warranty records prior to the start of the previous review or Audit will not be subject to chargeback by the Company. The exception to this is where unusual or false claiming practices are found at the Dealership at a Step 2 Warranty Root Cause Review. In such circumstances, warranty records prior to the start of the previous review (Step 1) and records examined as part of Step1 Dealer Self Review, may be subject to chargeback.
| Step 2 Review | Most recent 180 days payments |
| All Audits (Steps 3 and 4) | All payments since last WCP action up to a maximum of 12 months |
Dealers can learn more about the Warranty Counselling Process by accessing the GWMS site at www.wsc.dealerconnection.com.
