SECTION 5 – WARRANTY PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENT
5.3 THE WARRANTY CONSULTING AND AUDIT PROCESS STEPS
5.3.9 Exiting the Warranty Counselling Process
There are two ways in which a Dealership can exit the WCP:
- Through information obtained from a Step 1 or 2 review, the Company is satisfied that the warranty performance concern was based upon factors beyond the Dealer's control. The individual factor beyond the Dealer's control must be the only factor influencing their involvement in the process.
NOTE: Regarding Step 1 reviews, the responsibility is on the Dealer to provide all relevant information. - The Dealer has not progressed to the next WCP step in the 12 months since the last action. Note: this 12-month period commences with the start of the Process Improvement Period.
