2.1.2 Carrier Waiting Time
Carrier tariffs and / or contracts provide free time for unloading and inspection of vehicles. The Carrier’s Representative must remain for a reasonable time for the inspection to be carried out (reasonable time being 5 minutes for each clean vehicle). Inspection must be performed as quickly and accurately as possible. Dealers are responsible for any delay charges incurred. If a Carrier’s representative refuses to wait in accordance with the above, Dealer’s should contact the Carrier ramp phone number listed on the Bill of Lading / Delivery Receipt/ Vehicle Survey Report (VSR). Enter the arrival and departure time on the Bill of Lading / Delivery Receipt/ VSR. Note the duration of any delay on the Bill of Lading / Delivery Receipt/ VSR.
