2.1 CARRIER DROP-OFF
2.1.6 Vehicles received without VSR
If there is no Carrier Bill of Lading / Delivery Receipt/ VSR, a letterhead receipt is acceptable if it includes:
- All of the notations that would normally be on a Bill of Lading / Delivery Receipt/ VSR (including the five-digit area, damage, and severity code).
- Carrier name.
- Vehicle Identification Number.
- Date and time of delivery indicated by representatives of the Dealer and Carrier.
- Signature of both representatives.
A copy of the letterhead receipt must be given to the Carrier’s Representative.
NOTE: VSR – EPOD user - The Dealership must use the web-based notification system to record this information by 4pm the next business day following vehicle delivery.
