2.9 PRE-DELIVERY INSPECTION
2.9.3 New Vehicles Delivered to Non-Selling Dealer Locations
The selling Dealer is responsible for the Pre-Delivery Inspection of vehicles delivered to locations other than the selling Dealership. This includes all vehicles (fleet and retail) shipped directly from the assembly plant to a body builder or another Dealer. The selling Dealer:
- Must arrange for the inspection at time of Carrier drop-off and Pre-Delivery Inspection through an authorized Dealer or pre-delivery contractor near the place of delivery.
- Is responsible for damage resulting from failure to arrange for proper pre-delivery preparation.
