SECTION 4 – FORD/LINCOLN PROGRAM POLICIES

4.3 GENERAL INFORMATION & SPECIAL CIRCUMSTANCES FOR FSAs

4.3.2 Related Damage

Any mechanical damage to the vehicle that is a direct result of the issue covered by the FSA bulletin, but is not specifically noted by the Bulletin, is considered a Covered Repair. This does not include any property damage.

Additional Labour and/or Parts necessary to complete the Repair, and any additional 'Access Time', must be submitted as Related Damage for any FSA.

All related damage should be claimed on the same repair line as the FSA or as defined by the specific FSA bulletin.

Related Damage may not be reimbursable if the customer did not have the FSA repairs completed in a reasonable amount of time. For additional exceptions, please refer to Non-Reimbursable Conditions. If damage occurs as a result of the Dealership not performing the specified FSA instruction in a timely fashion, the additional damage may not be covered by Ford.

NOTE: Do NOT begin no-charge repairs until authorized by the company on Property Damage, Personal injury, Accident or Fire, please refer to A.6.1 Property Damage, Personalinjury, Accident or Fire.
