SECTION 4 – FORD/LINCOLN PROGRAM POLICIES
4.5 ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE PROGRAM
4.5.1 Roadside Assistance for Ford Cars and Trucks
Each new vehicle is supplied with the specific details relating to the Roadside Assistance (RSA) package. This information is contained in the Service Guide supplied with each new vehicle.
Roadside Assistance is a complimentary program separate from the New Vehicle Limited Warranty.
In the event that a vehicle needs towing, the Dealership must first check if the vehicle is covered by a Roadside Assistance agreement prior to arranging for the vehicle to be towed. (Towing is only reimbursable from where the vehicle has broken down to the nearest Dealer. Towing between Dealers or towing a vehicle that has a current Roadside Assistance agreement is not Claimable under warranty).
The Dealership will need to inspect the vehicle and establish if there is a defect in factory materials or workmanship. If a warrantable defect has been found, then a Claim for towing can be submitted.
