A.3.26 Service Contracts
A.3.26.1 Summary
Several types of service contracts may be purchased to provide specific coverage to complement the warranty for eligible vehicles. Ford Extended Service Plans (ESP) or Extended Service Business (ESB) are available for both new and used Ford vehicles and may be purchased by a customer to supplement their New Vehicle Limited Warranty on eligible cars, trucks and commercial vans.
For enquiries specific to ESP, the Dealership must refer to the ESP Program Manual for information prior to contacting the relevant ESP staff. Where the ESP Program Manual requires further clarification, Dealers should contact the Warranty Operations Helpdesk.
NOTE: Vehicles which have had their New Vehicle Limited Warranty cancelled, odometers altered, or have been Written-off (with a Warranty Alert assigned) are not eligible for ESP coverage. If part of the vehicle’s New Vehicle Limited Warranty has been cancelled, the corresponding portion of the ESP coverage is also cancelled. Please see the ESP Program Manual or ESP contract for a complete list of what is not covered under an ESP plan.
